Subversion server opens the door
We were recently working on a mechanism which would allow you to request SVN account without being familiar with who actually does this and how's this done. All you need now is to fill up the form describing the reason you want to get your account with and a bit of information we'll need to register you. Note that the page you'll see is the one from the new site we're also working on hardly, so it doesn't contain your current registration information and you'll have to provide it once again. This is a small issue and we'll definitely try to migrate your accounts soon, so please be patient.
Also, please don't abuse us with foolish requests. We won't give you an account if the reason would be something like "I really want this one, guys!" or "Just wanted to request it to be sure I get one if the number is limited ;)". Provide us with information on what are you going to do right after you get one, this is very appreciated.
Oh, and the link is: http://kolibrios.org:3000/i-want-svn.

Kolibri 0.7.1.0
After several months of waitning we're glad to tell you new distro is there. Kolibri 0.7.1.0 doesn't have any cardinal difference compared to 0.7.0.0. This release was stipulated by call of the times rather - it's necessity to keep distance between releases. The fact that distro came out actually shows sufficient groundwork stability however no one is goof-proof. You may help us making Kolibri better. If you have any info on bugs - join us, let's make Kolibri the best ;)

New features at KolibriOS.org server
Anonymous access to FTP server has been set up today to allow users without own homepage to upload their work. Files are also available through HTTP protocol for convenience. User this server only for the right purpose; files having no connection to the project will be deleted without warning. Additional request is to use existing and create new folders to categorize content. Let's not create the mess here ;-)

Another good news is that now it's possible to access our SVN server through HTTP. You may use http://kolibrios.org/repos to checkout and commit your changes.

New forums
Finally we've got our own discussion board. It's based on phpBB3 engine and located at http://board.kolibrios.org/. You may also get there by selecting appropriate link from this site' main menu.

I have to add here that now most of the posts are in Russian since this data was transferred from our old board. In no case should you be afraid to write in English. We'll answer your posts as long as we understand them (and we do, if they are in either Russian or English).

Kolibri 0.7.0.0
Less than 4 months left since our previous release and we are glad to give you new Kolibri version 0.7.0.0. There are quite a lot of changes for such a small time. Kernel was modified to use flat memory model and to support fast system calls (sysenter, syscall). PS/2 mices handling code was took off into separated driver, supporting multi-button (up to five buttons) PS/2 mices with scroll wheel, COM1 and COM2 mices handling code was merged. There're also many other changes such as kernel configuration using external ini-file, special /sys directory, system boot screen improvements.
There are also new programs versions available. Noticeable changes were made in KFAR, KFM, ICON, @PANEL. For example, new @PANEL version now allows you to switch between windows using Alt+Tab and Alt+Shift+Tab shortcuts. File managers now able to copy and delete multiple selected files, KFAR even supports these operations to be performed on directories.
To make some conclusion, new version should work faster than previous one because many changes we targeted on speed and resources usage optimizations. We hope you will notice that too.
As always, you are free to download new distributive in the appropriate section.

Kolibri 0.6.5.0
New Kolibri version 0.6.5.0 released. It's based on a bit less than hundred and a half revisions, including many changed and additions for both kernel and applications. Most noticeable is read ability from NTFS partitions, kernel support for programs and drivers packed with KPACK, functions to change cursors from the application side. Desktop picture should now look more attractive since new smoothing algorithm is used.
Talking about programs changing we can mark KFAR (copy files, create folders), FASM (fixes for output generation), TINYPAD (work with mutliple files, change encoding, dynamic memory allocation). Changes have also been made to more than 50 other programs.
New distro is available in "Download" section.
